A.S.A.P members have fun participating in activities such as flag football, basketball, poetry, dance, writing & recording music and other cool stuff. We believe since this is their time -they get to choose which activities they want to get involved in.
At the Symbolic Art Center membership has its privileges - A.S.A.P participants are eligible for discounts when they get involved in other Symbolic Art Center activities and programs.
Symbolic Art coordinators have been serving the community surrounding Becker Middle School for more than 14 years. Hosting games, after-school programs, encouraging higher learning through community service projects, sponsoring special events such as kids-night-out, movie night, haunted houses, basketball & seasonal camps, dances, arts & craft workshops and many other activities our youth enjoy.
A.S.A.P >> After School Activities Program is an "Experience" -- Symbolic Art's hang out spot, homework, peer-to-peer tutoring, sports, recreation, music recording, arts & crafts and more.
We believe children are most vulnerable during this window of time when they are unsupervised -- feedback from parents suggest they are more likely to be involved or create mischief.
A.S.A.P >> Symbolic Art's after school program is designed to harness youthful creativity and energy. Our goal at The Symbolic Art Center is to provide our youth with the opportunity to learn and grow in a healthy, fun, creative, inspiring and most importantly, a safe environment.
As a community partner and through our affiliation with other agencies such as Metro's gang prevention unit, Southern NV Community Gang Task Force, and the School Safety Action Committee -- Symbolic Art stays informed concerning current trends that impact the youth within their respective communities.
